To get a little more mileage out of my COD walls I decided to make a couple of molds and try to augment a base styrofoam structure with plaster casts of them. Here’s how I did it:

Most of my hobby time of late has been spent working on an industrial/necromunda terrain board. Here’s some progress shots, any feedback would be helpful, especially for suggestions for the other two-thirds of the board.
First off, here’s the assembled towers and what not for roughly a third of the board. Note the cadian for scale purposes.

So I’m attempting a truescaling of my marines for a new project. I feel like it’s going pretty well. It’s difficult to imagine putting that much work into a whole army, but I’ve got nothing better to do, I guess.
Furthermore, I’m going for the whole steampunk look, so I want them to be very rough technologically. I’m going to use Ork weapons for them, as they fit the look I’m going for better.
But here’s the problem. I’ve basically finished my test sergeant, but he’s very top heavy. His legs need something on them to balance out what I’ve done to his torso. His feet need finishing, but that’s a minor concern. I’m planning on rivets on his kneepads, but that won’t nearly be enough. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d be very appreciative.
