Raid gives you gold for extra points in a battle. It's a random number, though, but sometimes better than just upgrading meager holdings.

My made my first tile a keep so I wouldn't get eliminated out of hand. Probably not the most winning of attitudes, but I know my own record :)

I think the answer is that I needed to focus on single blocks with as many focused chargers as I can get. Eternal Guard on that one unit that had Wild Riders and Glade Guard would have eliminated it, I think, which would have let me pursuit move into the main block.

I also needed at least one more wizard, and/or a Branchwraith to help with dispels.

The only thing is, once I'm left with fighting the main block, that sucker's just going to grow and grow as Bill summons into it. I think two wizards minimum with three dispel scrolls would have helped, and a focused plan to prevent summonings and such would have been ideal.

I had wasted magic items on the Noble (Hail of Doom arrow...didn't fire it once the entire game). I should have given him more combat options.

My revision, assuming I know I'm fighting the summoning monster from hell, is to maneuver and not charge a unit unless I know I can get the Combat Resolution to finish it off. Dryads for cheap bait. Glade Riders should completely encircle the army and set up for a rear charge and/or march block the already slow zombies.

Nice Felix, sorry it worked out that way, what is the answer
versus these guys for you more E guard and way more magic? maybe some different specials? I'll probably play Bill next..I am going to up my detachments trying to essentially have a massive block so I can outnumber. if its any consolation the new VC does away with those special VC lists..

Thanks! Do you have a certain battle or time frame in mind for your DAK, like El Alamein or Tunisia? For the aerials, I used some nylon bristles from a small hand broom, painted black. You could also probably use fishing line or something like that. Because they're so small and fiddly, you want something that will bend easily without breaking.

Good luck on your DAK!

VERY COOL! I was thinking something similar to spice up my city terrain. I live in Chicago, and see a lot of architecture that inspires me for this type of thing. Sigh... too many projects.

Cool looking DAK. I am working on the same army for FOW, but haven't made too much progress due to other projects. What are you using for aerials on your tanks? Keep up the good work!!
