Deadlines.
I have a deadline, and several dead lines.
24 weeks of lesson plans due by Friday, even though I’ve submitted at least 20 of them previously, give or take.
Progress report grades due this week.
Want a new idea for the next week.
Barriers to completion:
1. My computer drops out on Saturday. Sunday is a panic.
2. My old printer from college doesn’t have a USB port and my laptop doesn’t have a printer port.
3. The snow returns tonight. I look forward to tomorrow. Really.
4. My hair is becoming mangy. When will I get it cut?
5. I haven’t gamed anything in 48 hours.
6. (It’s almost liberating)
7. I spent a couple hours buying a new printer and setting it up specifically to complete all work related tasks.
8. Mom is still in the hospital.
9. I worry that I don’t journal enough.
10. You tell me that I react to my stress in my sleep, and that it keeps you up at night.
11. I don’t eat better, I don’t exercise more, I just dig the ditch deeper.
Okay, have to start getting on this to-overcome list.
