I really need a Playstation 2.
So, instead of going out and actually buying a PS2, I posted a message on myspace asking if anyone did not want theirs anymore. I figured someone had to have one they weren’t using, what with the wii, the PS3, and Xbox 360 out.
Instead, my old classmate E– sends me the message, My husband has a PS2 he’s not using. Would you be interested in buying that one?
Alarm bells go off in my head.
One of the rules of married men is that all purchases must be verified. If she’s selling his stuff, it might be because they are fighting over it. And so other married men must beware.
Of course, she probably wants to get rid of it so badly that you can buy it for ten bucks…
Relax. I would never do such a thing. Besides, I have another message from someone else. E–’s husband’s PS2 is safe from me (no thanks to the rules among men).
