Teach or nanny?

There are options this summer.

My wife asked if I preferred teaching in the summer, nannying the nephew and niece, or, I don’t know, GAMING AND PAINTING DAY AND NIGHT!

Pros and cons.

Teaching in the summer means I can afford to game, and still have quite a bit of time to game. But I’m trapped in a room with 22 reluctant students.

Gaming and painting means I’ll go broke finding so much time to go shopping and driving to the ‘burbs to get my game on. All that free time usually means I’m burning money on new projects, whereas when I’m working shopping is very restricted because of how tired I get.

Nanny means I get a new computer or some other form of token payment and two little monsters I am allowed to bring to the playground when they’re good or stand them in the corner when they’re bad. I also get to teach them fun things like How to Eat a Gyros (tip: extra tzatziki), Where to Hide the Potato Chips (not in the underwear drawer that your parents always check), and Watch TV so Uncle Can Surf the Internet.

Aw, yeah. Incoming nanny.
